English Cultural Days at INPT - March 2005

The English Cultural Days were organised by the English Learners Club in March 17th, 18th and 19th in INPT under the theme of “English and cross-cultural understanding”. The purpose of these days is to sensitise young people, in particular academic students, to the importance of English as an aperture on the world’s culture. The schedule of these days contained conferences, projections, exhibitions, galleries, music show, sport, games, tombola and competitions.
These days ended by the ELC National Short Story Contest awards ceremony that the club launched in January 2005.

The English cultural Days were supported by Amideast (America-Mideast Educational and Training Services) Macmillan publishers, the Public Affairs Bureau of the U.S Embassy, the British Council and TypoEdit.
